How We're Different
Los Angeles Acceleration Academies (LAAA) works in partnership with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) to offer an alternative option for students ages 14-18 who have dropped out of an LAUSD school. Students are enrolled in a LAUSD Educational Options School, where they will take classes either in-person or virtually for part of the day, while also taking additional credit recovery courses through LAAA. LAAA will provide students with personalized support from experienced educators through a virtual learning model featuring personalized learning plans, web-based curriculum, flexible scheduling, and a wrap-around support system including career/life coaching.
Preparing you For the Future
Students work one-on-one with a Career and Life Coach to explore and select the right post-graduate career path. We prepare our graduates for internships, college, military service, skilled trades, well-paying jobs, and more!
